The work hints at the duality in a mother’s life: the constant tension and harmony between being a caregiver and maintaining an individual sense of self. The interplay of light and shadow cast from the solar eclipse reflects the cyclical nature of motherhood. These photographs create a visual meditation on the delicate balance mothers navigate, how we shift between selfhood and the identity shaped by raising a child.
