Stampede

Stampede

Collected from the secondary market

Stampede from Wild Mustangs was my first image ever minted to the blockchain, documenting these wild horses, and I am humbled to share it was recently acquired by a wonderful patron of the arts from the secondary market.

I originally set out to document and share the existence and struggles these horses currently face in the USA. Shortly after originally printing the images in platinum, I discovered NFTs and chose to take a risk and mint these images on the blockchain ("mint" is a general term used for publishing work on the blockchain.) After releasing the wild horses and embedding myself into the Wild West crypto art community, this body of work began to parallel and represent so much of what many are fighting for in this industry — freedom.

The Memes is a notable curated collection of art whose goal is to spread the message of decentralization in a playful way that tweetstorms, policy papers, and podcasts can't. All 350 editions were sold within the first two minutes of the release.

GM Sunshine now CC0

On the summer solstice, I decided to share some endless sunshine and chose to release the images in my collection GM SUNSHINE as CC0. In the crypto art industry many artists are exploring this model with their art. It's seen as a way to allow more people to remix, share, and enjoy the artwork while the original 1/1 piece of art will always retain its value — the value is in the provenance of the original tokens which are indisputable from the public ledger of the blockchain.
